* Me as I currently write this

stress filled post during a stressful time!*

Trying to manage my home life, school life, and nonexistent, if I may add, social life and everything else in between isn't exactly easy or fun.

I'm pretty confident that a lot of my readers will agree with me. At 22 years old I will admit that organization is not one of my strongest areas. You'd think that with my insane love of all things stationery that I'd have an exceptionally organized, highlighted, and paper clipped life but boy am I far from it.

I've got post-its in every color you can think of and pens for days but I also have three planners that sit nice and EMPTY all lined up on one of my office desk shelves.

Throw in my newly started business and things have quickly gone from slightly unorganized chaos to crazy.

Now I'm not saying that I'm a complete slob or that my room/office/studio, yes they are all in one, is a tornado disaster, but sometimes with everything that I have to get done and try to accomplish, life feels that way.

I was ready to take the next step in my journey to becoming a successful business woman through means of my passion for photography the moment my cursor hovered over the READY TO PUBLISH button for my new website, but wasn't quite ready for what LIFE decided to give me to handle as well on top of my already full load.

Trying to find a balance with the "normal" things that I have to deal with in my everyday life is hard enough. Tossing in my business and all the new social media platforms that come with it, including my blog, have been more than a handful. I consider it the very heavy cherry atop my crazy filled sundae. The sprinkles would have to be my new fitness journey but let's not get into that right now!

*Also typing this post as I eat a cookie. An amazing cookie if I say so myself!*

I love what I do and I wish that I could somehow clone myself so that I had a few extra hands to help me maintain my balance and sanity. I definitely wouldn't mind an extra ME or two to do my assignments and hit the gym but I'm going to have to settle with being a one-woman team. A one-woman team with some awesome cheerleaders to back me. Thats right! Im talking about you family, friends (meaning my cats and dog), and followers!

I know that I won't find my ultimate solution or that everything will magically fall into place over night but I have found a few things that have already started helping me get things in tip top shape like Grammarly (for all my blog posts, emails, and social media posts), HootSuite to help me keep all my social media platforms in order and in the same direction, and I also separated all my business files, paperwork, and planner from my school stuff. At first, I thought keeping one large binder was a good idea but having my own work binder is a MUST for keeping things in order(I based my binder off of examples from this site!) Maybe I'll do a blog post and walk you all through how I set up my work binder!

I've also figured out how to schedule my blog posts ahead of time on my site so that's a HUGE plus for me!

No matter how much yoga you do life will always find a way to stress you out but you should never allow it to consume you and ruin what you want to achieve. Things got a little bumpy for me the last three weeks but that's not going to scare me away from what I love and not only want to but WILL accomplish.

I know I've found a few things to start smoothing the load but I'd love to hear what helps you all get through the day and push through the crazy!

Until next time! Stay stress-free and keep shooting!
